Do you want to send your kids to the award winning Chaska Schools (Independent School District 112) but don’t want to pay the price of a new Chaska home? Of course, Chaska real estate prices aren’t all that bad either, but just drive a couple of miles west of Chaska on Hwy 212, and prices get even better. Consider checking out Carver MN homes for sale.

This town has a population that is about 2,000 (my guess) and covers about 2500 acres. If you haven’t been out here for awhile, you will remember Carver as a sleepy, quaint town comprised of older homes on the National Register of Historic Places and also a place that frequently gets flooded by the Minnesota River.
Welcome to the future! That old, charming town that you remember is still here, but it doesn’t get flooded anymore, thanks to a marvelous dike project courtesy of the US Army Corp of Engineers.
Also, yuppies have moved into the area, and they have been buying newer yuppie mansion Carver MN homes erected by notable builders such as Centex, Hans Hagen, Lennar, Ryan Homes, Hans Hagen, and J Philips Construction. If you are looking to spend even less money, there are a few Novak-Fleck built split-entry Carver homes built in the 1990’s. If you are thinking about one of these Novak-Fleck architecural wonders, be sure to have the windows inspected before you buy. If they have Acorn-brand windows you should run away screaming, or factor in a window allowance.
