Own a Lake Waconia lake home or lakeshore property and go fishing from your backyard for northern pike and walleye. The walleye population is well managed in this lake, and if you want them, I can tell you where to go- just go to the rock pile on the southeast corner of the lake with a shiner and a slip bobber. At 2,998 acres, this is the biggest lake in Carver County, and has plenty of room for large fish populations and plenty of Lake Waconia lakeshore property.
Limited Lakefront Inventory
The problem is that there aren’t that many homes on Lake Waconia for sale at any given time. Occasionally, there are some nice older lakeshore properties for sale on Lake Street or the South end of the lake. You can also find waterfront townhomes and multi-million dollar estates. Deeded lake access properties in Waconia Landing are also an option.
